This November, nine elite freedivers will take on an extraordinary challenge: a 24-hour underwater relay with no fins at Sydney’s historic Tattersalls Club. Their goal? To swim more than 81 km underwater, that’s 3,200 laps of a 25 m pool and set a new Guinness World Record.

They’re not just diving for glory. They’re diving for Rainbow Club, a social swimming club that gives young people with a disability the chance to learn to swim, build confidence, and be part of an inclusive community.
